Christmas Coffee Advent Update #3

Less than one week until Christmas! I’m still having so much fun with our Christmas Coffee Advent! 🙂 Here’s how we’ve been enjoying our daily coffee this season.

Day 12: Go to a new coffee shop

We flew to Dallas this day for our big family gathering, so we went to a White Rhino coffee shop (after sampling it at the Dallas Marathon expo). It was great!

Day 13: Listen to Christmas music while you make coffee

The mornings in Dallas were a little chaotic since we were all up early to run and/or spectate at the various races all weekend. You’ll have to take my word for it that I queued up my Christmas Classics playlist while making this (early afternoon) coffee!

Day 14: Drink coffee in the company of others

I was drinking coffee in the company of others all weekend, but I enjoyed this one before we all went out to spectate the half marathon.

Day 15: Make a classic cup of coffee

Again, we were drinking classic drip coffee all weekend, but this time we savored it extra. 😉

Day 16: Drink your coffee on a walk

This one came close to not happening because we were both extra tired and had overslept, it was cold out, and we needed to get ready for work. We decided to quickly go out and take a lap around our court. I’m counting it!

Day 17: Make an Aeropress

We made this Aeropress and I took it to work. This was the day that I started to feel really sick, so I didn’t enjoy drinking the coffee all that much but I do love making it!

Day 18: Take decaf on a walk to see the lights

This was so fun! We got rained on a tad, but we trucked on and I played Christmas music on my phone. Shockingly, the neighborhood hasn’t decorated as much as I expected. The courtyard we took this picture in front of has gone all out!

Day 19: Have coffee at a restaurant

I’m writing this post while I wait for Patrick to finish his eye appointment (mine was first). But before we came here, we went to Silver Diner (finally!) for breakfast and coffee with our friend (and, conveniently, neighbor) Margaret! The coffee was shocking good, the food was tasty, and the company was wonderful. What a great Friday!

I hope you enjoy this last weekend before Christmas!

Love,

JN
