a handful of things I know to be true

  • It’s not that serious and you’re probably the only one fixated on it
  • An hour is both a lot of time and no time at all
  • You should add protein to every meal
  • Avoiding looking at your bank accounts/credit card statements doesn’t actually change anything about your financial situation
  • To do lists can be absolutely magic
  • Confidence takes practice
  • Eating at home isn’t always glamorous but it is wise
  • Actually, people like you
  • A really late response to a text is better than no response at all
  • When in doubt, drink some water
  • Reading before bed feels better than scrolling on your phone for an hour
  • If you’re feeling bleh, cleaning something helps
  • Exclaiming! Is! Okay! !!!
  • Brussel sprouts should be roasted, not steamed
  • You probably don’t really want to buy that thing, you just want the dopamine rush that goes with a purchase
  • The public library is cool

What would you add?
